Course Description: In this course, students will learn about the principles of print and online storytelling as they relate to our communities and current events. Students will learn investigative skills, responsible and ethical documentation, and writing techniques that focus on the introductory skills of journalism. In alignment with our three enduring outcomes of reading with intent, writing with purpose, and speaking with clarity, students will critically read news stories, write their own feature articles, and conduct interviews.
