Course Description: This course gives students an engaging, beginner-friendly introduction to the world of artificial intelligence and its growing influence on everyday life. You will explore how AI systems learn from data, make decisions, and recognize patterns using concepts such as algorithms, machine learning, neural networks, and large language models. Through hands-on activities, you will experiment with AI tools to see how they generate text and images, make predictions, and solve real-world problems. In addition to learning how AI works, the course examines the impact of AI on society, including its use in medicine, education, business, entertainment, and cybersecurity. Students will learn about important topics such as fairness, bias, privacy, and responsible AI use, and you will think about the challenges that come with AI’s rapid growth. By the end of the course, students will understand how AI works, how it affects society, and what new opportunities it creates for future careers.
