Course Description: In Graphic Novel Explorations, students will apply the three enduring outcomes within an English course to the specific genre of graphic novels: read with intent, write with purpose, and speak with clarity. This short course will provide a deeper analysis of the elements used within different types of graphic novels and the examination of a graphic novel’s structure. Asynchronous lesson content will contain examples of contemporary and classic graphic novels. Course is pass/fail as determined by three assessments aligned to the enduring outcomes.
