Course Description: This asynchronous course introduces students to the many ways printed products are created and used in the real world. Students explore different types of printing, including commercial printing, books and publications, packaging, signs, direct mail, and secure documents. The course explains how print shops are organized, how jobs move from design to finished product, and why accuracy and security matter. Students also learn how printed items are finished, delivered, and installed. The course highlights how printing adapts to new materials, technology, and everyday challenges.
