Course Description: Do you have a flare for designing and decorating? If so, this course will show you how to turn your interests and skills into a career. From professionals who own their own business to those working within a larger company, interior designers do it all—from planning the color scheme to choosing furniture and light fixtures—with the end goal of creating a space where people can live or work comfortably, safely, and happily.

You’ll learn about color, texture, trends and styles over time, how homes are built, and “green” options for homes and businesses. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to work with a client to meet their unique needs and style requirements. This course will help you to identify parts of interior design that are most interesting to you, helping you to chart the path for your future.
