Prerequisite(s): IT Explorations and Teacher Recommendation or Digital Literacy

Course Description:   This course offers a foundational understanding of essential IT concepts, tools, and practices, preparing individuals for entry-level roles or further studies in information technology. Key topics include computing basics, data value, troubleshooting, and securing devices. Students will gain practical skills in setting up infrastructure, managing applications and operating systems, exploring programming concepts, understanding database fundamentals, and applying security best practices. With a focus on hands-on learning and real-world applications, this course builds a strong IT knowledge base for career development. Students will follow the CompTIA Tech+ curriculum and have the opportunity to earn the Tech+ certification.

Note:  This course prepares students to earn the CompTIA Tech+ Certification.
