With a focus on hands-on learning and real-world applications, this course builds a strong IT knowledge base for career development. Students will follow the CompTIA Tech+ curriculum and have the opportunity to earn the Tech+ certification.

Course Description: Accounting A is the first semester of a two-semester course. This course teaches accounting while placing emphasis on conceptual understanding and financial statement analysis to encourage students to apply accounting concepts to real-world situations and make informed business decisions. Topics include transactions and methods of accounting for a service business as a sole proprietorship. During Accounting B, students will continue their study of the accounting cycle and complete an accounting simulation. This simulation mimics keeping accounting records for an event planning business. This will be mailed to students.

Course Description: Take your creative and technical skills to the next level in Advanced Design with AI. This class blends creativity, innovation, and artificial intelligence to help you design smarter, faster, and with greater impact.
In this self-directed course, students will develop and manage the full creative workflow that includes planning, prompt engineering, ethical design considerations. Students will experiment with AI-powered design platforms—such as Adobe Firefly, Canva Magic Studio, Runway ML, and ChatGPT—to generate visuals, streamline workflows, and bring bold ideas to life. You’ll begin by developing a personalized learning plan, identifying your design focus—whether that’s web development, digital illustration, motion graphics, or branding—and setting clear goals with your teacher’s guidance.

At the core, our courses explore the question, “What does it mean to live in America?” We will focus on the three enduring outcomes of English: reading with intent, writing with purpose, and speaking with clarity. We will also focus on the three enduring outcomes of Social Studies: thinking critically, engaging civically, and communicating clearly.

Course Description: These courses provide a thorough introduction to the basics required for the study of the human body and how it functions. Students receive a general introduction to life functions, the terminology, and phonetic pronunciations used to describe body parts and their locations, as well as an overall review of human development and body processes. This course also includes infection control and standard precautions, which emphasizes the importance of maintaining health and safety in the health-care work environment, as well as highlights the latest practices and protocols.
